چکیده
Wildlife Service to supply scientific information and methodologies on key environmental issues that impact fish and wildlife resources and their supporting ecosystems. Projects have been initiated in the following areas: coal extraction and conversion; power plants; mineral development; water resource analysts, including stream alterations and western water allocation; coastal ecosystems and Outer Continental Shelf development; environmental contaminants; Nattonal Wetland Inventory; habitat classification and evaluation; inventory and data management systems; and information management. The Biological Services Program consists of the Office of Biological Services in Washington, D.C., which is responsible for ovsrall planning and management; National Teams. which provide the Program's central scientific and technical expertise and arrange for development of information and technology by contracting with States, universities. consulttng firms, and others; Regional Teams, which provide local expertise and are an important link between the National T earns and the problems at the operating level; and staff at certain Fish and Wildlife Service research facilittes, who conduct inhouse research studies.

Evaluation of Seismic Performance of Combined Horizontal and Vertical Hexagrid Structural System for High-rise Buildings
Summary In this study, the seismic performance of hexagrid structures which are composed of horizontal and vertical hexagrid by using a transitional story, has been investigated. To this end, 10 models of 50-story hexagrid structures were designed. 9 models with horizontal hexagrid cells which transited to vertical cells using a transitional story, and a model of completely horizontal hexagrid ...
متن کاملEVALUATION OF CONCRETE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK AND MULTIPLE LINEAR REGRESSION MODELS
In the present study, two different data-driven models, artificial neural network (ANN) and multiple linear regression (MLR) models, have been developed to predict the 28 days compressive strength of concrete. Seven different parameters namely 3/4 mm sand, 3/8 mm sand, cement content, gravel, maximums size of aggregate, fineness modulus, and water-cement ratio were considered as input variables...
متن کاملInvestigation of Sediment Discharge Hydro-Induction for Preventing Sediment In Dams (a Review)
Hydro-induction sediment discharge technique (HSDT) aims to prevent reservoir sedimentation by withdrawing the discharge water from the reservoir bottom to suck up and discharge sediments, and by inducing vertical vortexes and undercurrents in the reservoir bay to keep sediments agitated and moving. The technique is facilitated with an innovative discharge conduit system having bottom intakes t...

متن کاملPerformance Evaluation of Dynamic Modulus Predictive Models for Asphalt Mixtures
Dynamic modulus characterizes the viscoelastic behavior of asphalt materials and is the most important input parameter for design and rehabilitation of flexible pavements using Mechanistic–Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG). Laboratory determination of dynamic modulus is very expensive and time consuming. To overcome this challenge, several predictive models were developed to determine dyn...
